I've purchased two of these now. Everything about it is wonderful: it comes with a cleaner; it's inexpensive; its material won't rust or bend. It holds about two or three cloves of garlic, which depends on how hard you can squeeze; even if you don't have the strength, however, you can always place less cloves in it. Believe me -- It beats chopping the garlic by hand!Customer Review: Broken within a few uses

Unlike the other people here who are also giving this device 1 star, I had no problems getting garlic to come out, in fact.... I would be a person giving this 5 stars, had it not broken so quickly on me....
I wasn't even using very large garlic this time, a small little piece.... the little pin that allows the swinging action of the press broke off and now the device is useless.
1 star for cheap materials, otherwise I have enjoyed Zyliss products.... I will be more wary now...

I've used and searched for many garlic presses and I like this one the best so far. It's pretty easy to use. The cleaner really helps a lot and makes a difference. It can be hard to press if you put 2 or 3 cloves in but not really that hard. One clove at a time and the job is pretty fast! It's fantastic that you don't have to peel the skin you just stick it in and PRESTO - lots of garlic out and toss the skin left in the press. Spend the extra money on Zyliss. Can't beat Swiss made.
