This press truly does produce crushed garlic without having to peel the cloves first. One note of caution: if you load in too many cloves, it is very difficult to press. It works best when the emptied skins are cleaned out of the press each time.

The plunger is designed to press out the maximum amount of garlic and juice so little goes to waste and to prevent peelings from slipping through the press.
